What if the mess is actually trying to tell you something?
Most of us were taught that struggle means something is wrong with us. But what if it doesn’t? What if the patterns, the overwhelm, the grief, the way you move through change… what if all of it makes sense once you have the right framework to look at it?
I’m Kay. I’m an author, speaker, and peer-to-peer support guide, but more than any of that, I’m someone who has lived at the intersection of neurodivergence, trauma, grief, and change long enough to know my way around. The work I do now is the work I needed when nobody had names for what I was navigating.
- Feel like they’ve done everything right and something still isn’t clicking
- Are navigating change, whether in their identity, their work, or their relationships, and can’t figure out why it’s so hard
- Are carrying grief, trauma, or CPTSD and need someone who actually gets it
- Have recently discovered they’re neurodivergent and are trying to make sense of how to create a life that works with their wiring
- Are leading people through change and realizing the human side of it is the part nobody prepared them for
Everything grows from the same root
My first book was written for parents raising autistic children, because I was one of them. That experience cracked open everything I thought I knew about brains, belonging, and what it means to be wired differently. It sent me on a path I’m still walking.
Everything I create now grows from that same root.
I make the map now
I spent more than three decades in the live entertainment industry, eventually chairing an international association’s board and receiving its lifetime achievement award. But the people who sought me out weren’t coming because of my title or my credentials. They came because I had been there, and they needed someone who could see them without flinching.
I’m late-diagnosed AuDHD. I’m a trauma survivor. I know grief from the inside. I have lived at this intersection my entire life, and the frameworks I build now are the ones I needed back when nobody had names for what I was navigating.
Where to find me, now and what’s coming
Some of this is in the world already. Some is in progress. All of it is rooted in the belief that when we finally have the right framework for what we’re experiencing, everything shifts.

Another book is in progress. When it’s ready to share more, you’ll hear about it here first, and through the email list below.
Untangling My Wiring

The practice that holds everything else together
Long before any of this had language, I had art. Not art as performance or product, but art as a way back into my own body, a place to put what couldn’t be said out loud yet. It’s an inward practice, a healing one, and it’s woven through everything I do.
Soon, that practice is becoming something you can hold in your hands. Art for My World is a snail-mail art club in the works. It isn’t about learning to make “good” art. It’s about using what you already have to gain insight into yourself, and maybe picking up a few skills along the way. It’s built for everyone from people who’ve never made anything to working professionals looking to engage with their craft differently, and really for anyone who wants to build a deeper connection to their inner life. More details are coming.
